Best BBQ Grills in Different Categories

When you’re searching for the best BBQ grills, there are quite a few things to consider.

The best grill for you, might not be the best grill for someone else. The reason is that there are so many different options and features to choose from.

This is why I’ve organized the best barbecues into different categories.

My Top Recommendation

The Weber Summit and Genesis grills are by far the best grills on the market.

Weber Genesis BBQ Grill

They have the best features, best ratings, and will last the longest. These are the top recommendation.

If you're willing to spend the money, you'll be totally impressed with these grills.

The Summit and Genesis Series are Weber's top choices that meet most people's needs. I have compared the best models to help you choose.

Weber Kettle Original GrillBest Charcoal BBQ Brand

If you're after a charcoal grill, then there's only 1 brand you should consider: Weber.

As with all types of grills, there are several options to consider such as size and features.

You can review my list of the top charcoal bbq grills here.

Types of BBQ Smokers

If you're looking for a barbecue smoker, you'll find that there are a few types to choose from.

Some of these are very versatile which will allow you to grill and smoke your food. Some are very set it and forget it, while others will require more attention and adjustments.

I have outlined 6 of the most common types of smokers, and have made specific product recommendations as well.

Check out the 6 different smoker types here.

Best Options Based on Prices

If your budget is over $500, then take my word for it and get a Weber Summit or Genesis grill.

But if your budget is under 500 dollars, I have outlined the top choices in three different categories:

Best BBQ Grills Under $500

Best BBQ Grills Under $300

Best BBQ Grills Under $200

Based on my personal experience, and in talking with so many other BBQ experts, the 500 dollar price point is quite significant.

Typically the grills in this range and above are excellent. They have the best features and are extremely well built with quality materials.

As you venture below $500, the size of your barbecue will also go down. If you're limited by space and require a smaller grill, then you can find some great options in the 200 to 300 dollar range.

However there are many cheaper grills that won't last very long, so I caution you when looking for cheap grills.
